About Soul Play

Started more than 20 years ago by Terry Nelson-Johnson as a solo practitioner, Soul Play has grown organically into a team of spiritual directors, presenters, and retreat leaders committed to sharing the Good News and creating experiences of spiritual vitality by diving deep into the Catholic tradition and wisdom teachings.

Simply put: Soul Play is the work of soul friends committed to sharing the Good News in an engaging, authentic manner aligned with tradition. The work consists primarily of live presentations of enriching theology couched in lively storytelling.

“These months of involvement in Adventures in Grace: a pilgrimage have been a healing experience of eye therapy for me. Gradually, and sometimes dramatically, my eyes have been opened to see more clearly how God sees us, the world and me. At every event I felt like I should take my shoes off because I truly felt the presence of the sacred. This experience has been soul altering, and I am truly grateful.”
— Marsha C. Adamcyyk, Pastoral Associate for Holy Family Catholic Community
